  • Advise clients on media investment, channel strategy, measurement, organizational structure, and long-term transformation
  • Ensure media strategies are connected to clients' broader business, brand, demand generation, and revenue objectives
  • Oversee the development of sophisticated cross-channel programs spanning programmatic, paid social, SEM, trade publications, traditional media, outdoor, and emerging channels
  • Serve as the escalation point and senior strategic counsel for complex or high-profile client engagements
Scaling and Operational Excellence
  • Design and implement scalable delivery models that improve quality, efficiency, consistency, and profitability
  • Lead the continued development of offshore and distributed media capabilities, ensuring clear ownership, strong communication, and consistent quality standards
  • Determine the appropriate balance of onshore, offshore, centralized, and client-dedicated resources
  • Partner with operations and finance leaders to oversee pricing, staffing, utilization, resourcing, and margin performance
  • Establish clear roles, workflows, quality-control processes, and service-level expectations across the media function
  • Monitor the health of the practice and proactively address capacity, capability, and delivery risks
Team Leadership and Capability Building
  • Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team of media leaders and practitioners
  • Build a clear organizational structure and career path that supports both team growth and business needs
  • Coach senior team members and strengthen leadership capabilities throughout the practice

  • Establish the practice's approach to media measurement, optimization, reporting, and performance storytelling
  • Partner with analytics and technology leaders to strengthen the connection between media performance and business outcomes
  • Evaluate emerging platforms, technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and industry developments
  • Ensure the practice remains current with evolving privacy requirements, buying models, platform capabilities, and B2B media trends
  • Introduce new approaches that improve performance, efficiency, and the client experience

Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading media strategy and delivery for large, complex enterprise clients
  • Deep understanding of B2B media, including programmatic, paid social, SEM, trade publications, traditional media, and integrated channel planning
  • Proven experience building, scaling, or transforming a media practice or substantial media capability
  • Experience leading distributed, global, offshore, or blended delivery teams

  • Experience overseeing multimillion-dollar media budgets and complex client portfolios
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with pricing, staffing, utilization, profitability, and scope development
  • Proven success leading senior teams, developing leaders, and managing organizational change
  • Experience supporting new business pitches and expanding media relationships within existing accounts
