Job description

Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Vice President of Partner Operations will lead execution across EnFin’s third-party partner platform, ensuring scalable delivery performance, ecosystem coordination, and operational reliability as the business grows. This leader will own execution across the full partner lifecycle, from onboarding and activation through project delivery, monetization, and ongoing asset performance.  This will involve implementing and overseeing the operating infrastructure that enables installers, distributors, service providers, and integration partners to execute consistently across onboarding, project delivery, incentive realization, and ongoing asset performance/ The role focuses on building disciplined execution systems, strengthening commercial operating relationships across the partner ecosystem, and driving operational scalability across distributed assets and markets.  This includes ownership of both partner-facing execution discipline and the support infrastructure required to enable partners to operate effectively on the platform.

This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with company policy. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner Lifecycle Execution & Experience

  • Lead end-to-end operational ownership of installer onboarding, activation readiness, and market launch execution.
  • Establish scalable operating standards governing partner activation timelines, documentation quality, and execution of gating.
  • Own the Partner Operations function as the primary B2B support interface, including Partner Advisor teams, issue resolution workflows, and escalation management.
  • Ensure partners have clear, timely, and actionable support across onboarding, project execution, and ongoing operations.
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives with strategic partners in coordination with Sales, Risk, and Finance.

Distributed Asset Execution & Performance Oversight

  • Own the operating framework for project design inputs, savings validation, and milestone progression — including documentation standards, gating discipline, exception tracking, and cross-functional escalation — in partnership with Risk on policy and approval criteria.
  • Oversee performance results across the installed base, including operational management of performance guarantee programs.
  • Own operational execution, tracking, partner remediation, and governance inputs for performance guarantee programs; coordinate with Risk, Finance, Product, and Asset Management on policy and calibration decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal affiliates and installer partners to ensure resolution of field execution issues including workmanship, documentation gaps, asset underperformance, and deployment friction.

Ecosystem Commercial Operations

  • Lead commercial operating relationships with key ecosystem integration partners including design/proposal platforms, CRM systems, and data workflow providers.
  • Own commercial execution relationships with distribution partners, including coordination of direct pay integrations, safe harbor deployment execution, and supply-chain driven operational initiatives.
  • Oversee operational engagement with grid services and virtual power plant partners, ensuring reliable deployment of readiness and performance tracking.

Incentive & Monetization Execution

  • Lead operational execution of incentive monetization programs including rebate realization, SREC processes, and utility coordination.
  • Build scalable infrastructure for incentive tracking, documentation readiness, and cross-stakeholder coordination.
  • Drive continuous improvement in realization timelines and operational yield across incentive programs.

Affiliate Service Provider & Vendor Performance

  • Own operational oversight of inspection, validation, servicing support, and other affiliate service providers supporting project progression.
  • Establish performance standards, escalation frameworks, and transparency mechanisms across vendors.

Field Platform Reliability & Integration Execution

  • Lead operational ownership of installer-facing platform configuration, deployment readiness, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate closely with Product and Technology teams to prioritize reliability improvements impacting partner execution.
  • Ensure successful field rollout and operational adoption of integration capabilities across ecosystem partners

Operational Scalability & Leadership

  • Build and lead high-performing teams across Partner Operations, Asset Execution, Ecosystem Operations, and Platform Administration.
  • Define execution of KPIs and operating rhythms that enable sustained growth in project volume and geographic expansion.
  • Develop leadership depth and organizational structure to support increasing partner and asset complexity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Senior operational leader with 15+ years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree including a minimum of 12+ years of experience with background scaling complex B2B partner ecosystems in distributed or capital-intensive industries.
  • Strong track record of improving execution quality across multi-stakeholder delivery environments.
  • Commercially credible operator capable of managing strategic external relationships.
  • Hands-on leader comfortable driving execution discipline in fast growth setting.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional operating teams across partner operations, implementation, support, vendor management, platform administration, and field execution.
  • Strong commercial judgment, but not primarily a sales role; able to manage senior partner relationships while maintaining execution discipline and operational standards.
  • Ability to ideate, develop and execute strategic plans, in close collaboration with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment where priorities may change quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, team development, people management and influencing skills at a senior level.
  • Strong analytical orientation with the ability to use operational data, partner performance metrics, and execution of KPIs to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present core concepts, vision and strategy in internal and external forums.

SUCCESS METRICS

  • Reduced partner activation cycle time and improved readiness quality.
  • Improved milestone execution consistency and reduced deployment friction.
  • Strong performance guarantee outcomes and operational performance visibility.
  • Increased realization efficiency across incentives, grid services, and monetization programs.
  • High partner satisfaction and ecosystem execution reliability.
  • Platform scalability supporting sustained volume growth without disproportionate escalation burden.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced Degree
  • Specific experience in residential solar is strongly preferred.
