Job Summary:

This position is responsible for our overall business development by identifying, qualifying and selling prospects to achieve their assigned sales forecast goal.  Prospects could include both current and new pharmaceutical manufacturers and brands.  The VP, Client Solutions will have a focus on educational solutions and should have significant experience with KOL engagement programs, disease education programs, virtual event sales, and if applicable, medical games for both pre-launch and post-launch brands.  Top performers are highly skilled at identifying new opportunities, uncovering critical and urgent client needs, and effectively communicating the fit with and benefits of data driven omnichannel marketing campaigns.  Successful VPs are approachable, strategic problem solvers, persistent, and passionate about results.  

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Primary sales responsibility on Relevate Health’s Point of Learning educational solutions with a focus on selling medical communications, scientific platforms, and educational solutions into pharmaceutical Medical Affairs and Brand marketing teams (Peer to Peer education lead), as well as Medical Communications agencies.  
  • Relevate Health’s Point of Learning Solutions cover the following areas:
    • Peer to Peer Content and Videos
    • Virtual Meetings and Events
    • Interactive Learning Experiences
    • Precision Brand Amplification
  • Will also have ability to sell Relevate’s full suite of Engagement Solutions across the Point of Clinical Decision. 
  • Secondary responsibility for lead generation in support of our agency services business (HCP AOR, Market Access, Health Systems Marketing)
  • Manage assigned book of accounts to meet quarterly and annual sales forecast numbers  
  • Develop strategic annual account plans for all assigned manufacturers 
  • Generate and qualify leads through prospecting, network mining, referrals, and face to face meetings  
  • Responsible for all new business development with customers, as well as current client upsell and renewals, and cross selling to other brand teams 
  • Create and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and clients including financial decision makers such as VP of marketing, brand directors and managers, sales leaders, and marketing analytics 
  • Prepare and deliver professional client presentations, recommendations, proposals, and statements of work 
  • Complete discover and needs assessment, linking customer business problems with Company solutions and present solutions to fit client business need  
  • Collaborate with the account services team, as well as other internal teams, to ensure all work sold is executed and delivered with excellence 
  • Demonstrate excellent follow-up skills and appropriate urgency with clients  
  • Follow strong sales process and maintain data in CRM system in a timely and efficient manner.  This includes managing an accurate and updated pipeline of opportunities, as well as tracking all client meetings and client contact info in the CRM. 
  • Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with other sales team members and internal stakeholders 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • Prior Pharma Sales Experience
