The Growing Health Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic outpatient team. This position primarily involves remote client interaction, allowing you to make a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of individuals and families in the Springfield, Illinois area. You will be responsible for assessing, treating, and supporting clients facing challenges such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health disorders, and substance abuse. This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while engaging with clients primarily through telehealth sessions. Although remote, you will be integrated into a collaborative culture where teamwork and communication are key, facilitating regular case reviews and interdisciplinary collaboration via virtual meetings. Our outpatient office is well-equipped with the latest technological tools to streamline client management while ensuring confidentiality and efficiency.

• Develop and implement tailored support packages that cater to the individual needs of clients, assisting them in navigating through personal difficulties and overcoming dependencies.
• Conduct thorough assessments through interviews, gathering detailed information on client needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Establish clear, measurable goals for each client case to track progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress evaluations, and treatment plans, adhering to all regulatory standards.
• Provide crisis intervention as required, ensuring clients receive prompt support during emergencies and distressing situations.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and services to enhance client recovery and support systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care effectively, including participation in case conferences and sharing relevant information.
• Prepare and, when necessary, present evidence in court related to client cases, advocating for their best interests.

Your primary focus will be on serving diverse populations in need of mental health support. Many of our clients may come from challenging backgrounds, including histories of trauma, substance abuse, or familial dysfunction. The ability to understand and empathize with various cultural contexts is crucial to deliver tailored support that resonates with each individual’s experiences.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in providing social work and counseling services, preferably within outpatient settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proven cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
• A commitment to professional development and ongoing learning through workshops, certifications, and additional training.
• Exemplary ethical standards and dedication to maintaining professional conduct at all times.
• Empathetic nature with a strong client-centered approach, ensuring the client’s voice is central in care planning.

• Prior experience working with clients experiencing trauma or crisis situations.
• Familiarity with mental health assessment tools and treatment methodologies.
• Experience in telehealth service delivery and digital record-keeping systems.

The Growing Health Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
