The work environment is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while aligning with the needs of our patients. Although working from home, the role entails regular interaction with fellow healthcare professionals and patients through various virtual platforms. Daily functions may include engaging with clinical tools and documentation systems that facilitate real-time patient care and progress tracking.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health status and needs using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to inform individualized care plans that align with cultural diversities.
• Create, implement, and continually evaluate evidence-based treatment plans, adjusting interventions based on patient feedback and progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and reports in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans that reflect identified patient goals and outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, enhancing understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment options.
• Mentor and support junior clinicians, interns, and volunteers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Engage in regular peer reviews and case collaborations to uphold best practices within our clinical team.

This role primarily focuses on caring for patients diagnosed with cancer and their families, who may experience increased emotional and psychological distress due to their conditions. As an LCSW, you will provide specialized support that navigates the complexities of mental health as it intertwines with chronic illness, ensuring that cultural and personal nuances are integrated into care practices.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Experience working in a hospice or palliative care setting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities related to mental health, particularly within oncology.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, reflective of skill set and experience. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package including:
