Guiding Light Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while also operating within an outpatient office facility. Guided by our principles of empathy and respect, our team works cooperatively to ensure a seamless delivery of services. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours to meet the scheduling needs of our clientele.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the unique goals and circumstances of each client.
  • Deliver individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, applying a variety of therapeutic interventions to facilitate healing and growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines related to mental health services.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Guiding Light Therapy, you will work with a diverse array of clients experiencing various mental health issues, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and mood disorders. Your expertise will be essential in helping individuals navigate their emotional and psychological challenges, allowing them to foster resilience and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
  • A masterโ€™s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in conducting individual and group therapy sessions, demonstrating proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively document and communicate client progress and challenges.
  • A solid commitment to ethical practice and safeguarding client confidentiality.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
