Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing our Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers to connect with clients via a secure telehealth platform. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive assessments and deliver psychotherapy to clients of varying ages, utilizing effective telehealth methodologies. Your key tasks will include:

  • Conducting detailed assessments and diagnoses of mental health conditions for patients aged 12 to geriatric, ensuring all treatments are appropriate for telehealth delivery.
  • Employing evidence-based screening tools to measure patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Documenting all client interactions in our electronic medical record system, including diagnosis, treatment details, and billing codes, to maintain accurate records.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions through audio and visual communication, applying therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's needs.
  • Upholding the NASW Code of Ethics and adhering to all legal and regulatory standards relevant to the practice location.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including clinical staff and health educators, to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Advocating for clients by connecting them with community resources and additional support services tailored to their needs.
  • Engaging in professional development through continuing education opportunities and involvement in staff meetings and case conferences.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and seniors, offering tailored mental health care via telehealth. Your expertise will help clients address a variety of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and stress-related disorders. Understanding their specific challenges and developing personalized treatment plans will be crucial in your role, ensuring that clients receive the care they deserve.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
  • Strong understanding of clinical terminology and demonstrated capacity for accurate chart documentation.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
