The Clinton County Community Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our expanding team in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This full-time remote position offers mental health professionals an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families. Our counselors are crucial to achieving our mission of providing accessible and personalized mental health care to clients throughout the community.

About the Organization

At Clinton County Community Therapy Center, we strive to create a healthier society where mental and physical healthcare are integrated to enhance the quality of life for all. Our commitment to excellence empowers us to lead the field of behavioral health, making us one of the fastest-growing therapy practices in the nation. We emphasize a collaborative environment where our team works together to provide quality care to clients across a variety of backgrounds and circumstances.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to balance your professional with your personal life. You will also have the option of working in our outpatient office, providing a hybrid model if preferred. Our conducive work culture promotes collaboration through virtual platforms and regular team meetings, allowing for the sharing of insights and techniques that enhance client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track client progress using our electronic health record system.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy to address diverse issues.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive care and discuss client treatment goals.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Continuously engage in professional development activities, such as attending workshops and training sessions, to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay current with mental health research.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a varied clientele including individuals, families, and couples dealing with a broad spectrum of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. As an LCPC, you will work closely with these clients to facilitate personal growth, healing, and improved functioning.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting.
  • Proficient understanding of and adherence to legal and ethical standards in counseling practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills to establish trust with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
  • Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions is a plus, given the flexibility of our work environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, with additional opportunities for bonuses based on performance. In addition to competitive compensation, we also offer a sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates. Benefits include flexible scheduling options, professional development opportunities, and comprehensive health benefits designed to support your well-being.

We encourage our therapists to advance their careers through ongoing training, mentorship programs, and potential leadership roles within the organization. Our rapid growth allows for ample opportunities to expand your practice and influence in the behavioral health field.

Why Join Our Team
