Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team at Healing Mind Plus Wellness Center. This full-time remote position allows you to provide essential mental health services to individuals and families, focusing on fostering personal growth and emotional well-being. As our featured provider of mental health support, you will play a key role in delivering care to clients with diverse needs, particularly those facing barriers to accessing traditional mental health services.

About the Organization

Healing Mind Plus Wellness Center is a community health clinic located in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania, committed to enhancing mental health access and outcomes for underserved populations. Our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who deliver a spectrum of mental health services, ensuring clients receive tailored support for their unique challenges. We prioritize a holistic approach to mental wellness, aiming to empower individuals through evidence-based therapies and compassionate care.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, designed to support work-life balance while ensuring meaningful interaction with clients. Our collaborative team environment champions open communication and shared learning, allowing you to engage with peers and multidisciplinary teams effectively. Staying connected is key, and you will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities through webinars and workshops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans that meet clients' specific needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at fostering community support and personal insight among participants.
  • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care, ensuring all aspects of a client's needs are addressed.
  • Engage in continuous professional education to remain current with the latest mental health practices and research advancements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Healing Mind Plus, we serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, families, and couples facing a range of mental health challenges. Many of our clients come from underserved areas with limited access to mental health care, which drives our commitment to equitable service delivery. You will work with clients attending therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties, making a significant impact in their pathway to recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) issued in Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, ideally within a clinical setting, demonstrating competence in client assessment and therapy.
  • A solid understanding of legal and ethical frameworks governing mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a wide range of clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care will be highly regarded.
  • Prior experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, dependent on experience and caseload. In addition to a generous salary, employees will enjoy comprehensive benefits including dental, vision, and health insurance options. Professional liability insurance will also be provided. Our team will assist with billing and documentation, enabling you to focus more on client care and less on administrative burdens.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Healing Mind Plus, we are committed to the professional development of our staff and offer numerous opportunities for career advancement. You will have the ability to participate in ongoing training and workshops which facilitate skill development, enhance clinical competencies, and prepare you for leadership roles within the organization. By joining our team, you will be positioned for growth in both your clinical practice and potential administrative roles.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Healing Mind Plus means becoming part of a mission-driven organization that is truly making a difference in the community. We offer a supportive environment that values teamwork, respect, and collaboration, ensuring that our staff feel engaged and valued. Our commitment to mental wellness not only applies to our clients but also extends to our team members. Here, you will find an empowering culture that celebrates diversity and encourages innovative thinking.
