Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will encompass a variety of essential tasks:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of your patients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using established best practices and solution-based interventions.
• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate actively in case consultations and peer review meetings to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources that can support their recovery.
• Stay abreast of developments in the mental health sector and incorporate new knowledge into your clinical practice.
• Manage a full caseload efficiently, ensuring treatment goals are consistently met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse client population consisting of children, adolescents, and adults who present with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges. Your tailored support will help guide them towards achieving their personal treatment goals and improving their overall emotional well-being.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid social work license, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, focusing on the provision of psychotherapy services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster therapeutic relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• The capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
