Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Establishing and collaboratively setting therapeutic goals with clients while monitoring their progress through regular follow-up sessions.
• Offering teletherapy options to support clients who may have mobility issues or prefer virtual sessions for convenience.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to safeguard client confidentiality and ensure continuity of care.
• Engaging in continuous professional development to sharpen your clinical skills and stay informed of emerging trends in mental health care.

Client Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and relationship issues. Our clientele is diverse, and you will have the opportunity to support clients from different backgrounds with unique experiences, creating tailored approaches to address their specific needs.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster secure, trusting relationships with clients.
• A strong sense of empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.
• Effective organizational and time management abilities to manage caseloads efficiently and fulfill administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in addiction treatment or specialized approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) will have an advantage. Knowledge of teletherapy tools and techniques is also beneficial, given our remote setting, to facilitate productive client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits
