Job description

Position Summary We are searching for an experienced Part time Faculty, Librarian at our Santa Maria Campus and/or Lompoc Valley Center facility. We are accepting applications for part-time librarians to establish a pool of qualified candidates to join our team at the Santa Maria and Lompoc campuses. As positions for part-time librarians open, the department will select librarians from the established pool.

Typical workload will include staffing the library reference desk, teach/provide research consultations, and prepare/lead one-session orientations and information literacy sessions. Minimum Qualifications Masters in library science, library and information science, OR the equivalent.
