Position Overview

Allina Academy, RTC is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate team of mental health professionals. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a positive and trusting rapport with patients, fostering an atmosphere of safety and acceptance.
• Diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders, providing insight into conditions such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
• Design, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Engage in continuous assessment of client progress, adapting treatment approaches as necessary and collaborating with other health professionals when referrals to specialists are required.
• Document therapy sessions and progress notes accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, challenges, and solutions regarding patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with various mental health issues, families navigating interpersonal conflicts, and groups seeking support in communal settings. Your empathetic approach will empower clients to achieve their mental health goals and promote healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
• Proven experience in providing individual counseling and/or group therapy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling effective handling of diverse client needs and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy sessions.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes for enhanced patient support.

Compensation and Benefits
