Job Opening: Americas Area Ministry Team Manager
Location: Remote (Americas Area)
Department: Youth for Christ Americas Area Leadership Team
Position Type: Full-time (100% support-raising position)
Reports to: Americas Area Director

Position Overview
The Ministry Team Manager plays a vital leadership role across the Americas Area, ensuring that diverse ministry streams are spiritually grounded, strategically aligned, and effectively integrated. This role leads key ministry coordinators while fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth to advance Youth for Christ's mission.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop Area Coordinators in:
    • Prayer
    • Training
    • Care
    • Young Leaders
    • Digital Outreach
  • Provide regular follow-up, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Support team members in planning, decision-making, and problem-solving
  • Foster team unity, collaboration, and spiritual health
  • Ensure consistent reporting from all ministry coordinators
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Ministry Team and the Americas Area Leadership Team
  • Communicate ministry insights, needs, and impact stories to leadership

Additional Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a strong personal support network (prayer and financial partners) to fully fund the position
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Area Director

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Committed evangelical Christian aligned with Youth for Christ's Statement of Faith
  • Active member of a local evangelical church
  • Pastoral reference letter required
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) / resumĂ© required
  • English proficiency at C1 level (minimum)
  • Previous involvement with a Youth for Christ chapter in the Americas (preferred, not required)
  • Must raise full financial support for salary and ministry expenses (training and coaching available)

Accountability & Reporting
  • Reports directly to the Area Director
  • Active participant in the Americas Area Leadership Team
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Written reports
    • Virtual and in-person leadership meetings
    • Regular one-on-one meetings with the Area Director
