Job description

•    Conduct in-depth market research and competitive benchmarking on CMOS image sensors across AR/VR, mobile, automotive, and surveillance segments in global markets.
•    Define product positioning, pricing, go-to-market strategy, and manage full product lifecycle from concept to mass production and EOL.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, sales) across the U.S. and Asia to translate customer needs into technical requirements and product features.
•    Provide cross-regional technical support to ensure alignment on sensor specification, performance tuning, and integration.
•    Develop technical collateral including datasheets, feature comparisons, and sales training decks to support internal education and external promotion.
•    Deliver system-level guidance and product selection strategy based on use-case and performance criteria.
•    Participate in roadmap discussions with engineering and marketing leadership to identify future opportunities and define new product architectures.
•    Communicate customer feedback and market signals into design specifications to inform new sensor and platform development.
•    Assist in preparing and delivering technical training to global sales and application engineering teams.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field and 6 months of experience in product marketing.
The experience shall include:
•    The integration, testing, and optimization of video surveillance systems, including IP cameras, NVRs, and edge AI-enabled devices used in commercial and public security applications
•    Video quality tuning and evaluation, including configuration of camera parameters such as exposure, white balance, sharpness, and dynamic range to meet deployment-specific requirements.
•    Technical support to internal teams on camera installation, system compatibility, remote access, and video management software (VMS) operation.
•    Working with cross-functional product managers, sales engineers, and firmware teams to resolve field issues and contribute to product feature enhancements.
•    Preparing technical documentation, setup guides, and internal training materials for the global teams.
•    Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, Jira and Confluence for issue tracking and documentation, and remote testing equipment for validating surveillance system functionality.
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $139,235 - $145,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
