As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual counseling through video chat sessions to help clients improve their mental health and emotional well-being.
• Encouraging clients to openly discuss their feelings and experiences, facilitating personal insight and understanding of their relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, assisting them in identifying their goals and aspirations for therapy.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license (either LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) issued by the state board; limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Demonstrated ability to make professional evaluations and informed decisions regarding treatment planning and implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a sympathetic and empathetic nature.
• Proficient computer literacy to facilitate online sessions and documentation.

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting, showcasing familiarity with remote client engagement.
• Experience working with a diverse population and understanding the unique considerations that come with it.
