This role is fully remote, providing flexibility and convenience for both you and your clients. By leveraging telehealth technology, you will engage with clients through video conferencing, phone calls, and secure messaging platforms. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs through diagnostic evaluations, interviews, and standardized testing to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one counseling and therapeutic interventions for clients dealing with various issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster connection among clients, discussing common challenges and sharing coping strategies in a supportive environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment goals to track client progress, applying evidence-based practices to enhance therapy outcomes.
• Support clients in crisis situations by assessing their immediate needs and coordinating emergency resources when necessary, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Participate in professional development activities through continuous education and training to stay updated with mental health trends and innovations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to create a comprehensive approach to client care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will employ a person-centered approach that respects each client's unique experiences, empowering them to understand their feelings and work towards recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a valid state license as a Mental Health Counselor in Washington state.
• Successful completion of three years of supervised clinical hours post-graduation.
• Proficient in assessing and evaluating clients to determine appropriate interventions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and adherence to ethical standards in practice.

• Experience in providing telehealth services is preferred, as familiarity with digital platforms improves client rapport and service delivery.
• Additional certifications in specialized areas such as Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or Motivational Interviewing can enhance your effectiveness and appeal as a candidate.
• Experience working with specific populations such as adolescents, veterans, or individuals with substance use disorders may also be beneficial.
