Genius Monkey is a rapidly growing digital advertising technology firm with an advanced full-service advertising platform designed for today's real-time programmatic advertising needs. As an ad-tech firm, we work with both advertising agencies as well as direct relationships to advise, execute and support digital marketing campaigns including programmatic display, video, audio, and OTT/CTV. Genius Monkey has developed several cutting-edge proprietary tools to assist in measuring the effectiveness of digital advertising giving us a unique and significant competitive advantage.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record in B2B sales to fill the position of Account Executive. Experience in one or more of the following is helpful; advertising, digital ad space, ad agency, pharmaceutical, or copier sales. We have embraced the new 'work-from-home' trend and have gone completely virtual. Although being based in AZ is beneficial, it is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships that foster new business as well as building existing account
  • Understand & communicate details of Genius Monkey's Optimize Programmatic Display, Video, OTT/CTV and Audio Services
  • Develop strategic plan with the client to achieve goals
  • Continue on a path to personal education in order to stay on the cutting edge of our industry
  • Meet virtually and personally with prospective and current clients. Overnight travel 2-4 days a month is highly encouraged.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology
  • Excellent sales skills including the ability to create and build relationships
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Strong consultative and analytical skills
  • Effective time management skills -- ability to prioritize, drive and execute
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work remote without supervision
