What is a remote video editor?

A Remote Video Editor is a professional who edits and assembles video footage into a finished product while working from a location outside a traditional office or studio. They use video editing software to cut, arrange, and enhance video content for various purposes, such as social media, marketing, film, or television. Remote Video Editors collaborate with clients and teams virtually, sharing files and feedback online. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to manage projects independently.

How do remote video editors typically collaborate with producers and other team members to ensure project goals are met?

Remote video editors often use cloud-based platforms and communication tools to collaborate effectively with producers, directors, and other creative team members. Regular video calls, shared project management boards, and real-time feedback on drafts help maintain alignment and ensure the final product meets client expectations. Editors may participate in virtual team meetings to discuss project direction, troubleshoot challenges, and incorporate feedback, making strong communication skills essential in this remote role.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a remote video editor?

While in-house editors work in the office, remote video editors perform their job duties from home or another location outside of the office. They use a variety of computer software and equipment to alter and edit images digitally. Remote video editors are in charge of taking raw film footage, pulling out the best shots that have the best sound and imagery, and putting it back together as seamlessly as possible. Other businesses outside of the film industry also use remote video editors to create promotional videos, educational and training videos, and presentations for clients.

Social Media Manager

About Us

Rium International is introducing HOPA, an all-natural fruit drink mix made in Europe, to the U.S. market. While our primary focus is business-to-business sales, HOPA is also available directly to consumers through our online store.

As a new brand entering the U.S. market, we're building our presence from the ground up—and we're looking for a creative, motivated individual to help us grow.

About the Role

We're seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern who is passionate about creating engaging content and growing online communities. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a brand's social media presence from day one and make a measurable impact.

You'll have the creative freedom to develop content, experiment with new ideas, and help turn followers into customers.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging social media posts, short-form videos, and other digital content.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent social media presence across relevant platforms.
  • Grow our audience through creative, organic marketing strategies.
  • Monitor trends and recommend new content ideas.
  • Help build brand awareness and drive traffic that leads to sales.

What We're Looking For

  • Creativity and a passion for social media.
  • Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok.
  • Basic video editing and graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Interest in marketing, branding, or digital media.

Why Join Us?

  • Fully remote—work from anywhere.
  • Flexible part-time internship.
  • Build a brand from zero and make a real impact.
  • Gain hands-on experience with a product launch in the U.S. market.
  • Create a portfolio of work you can proudly showcase, with full recognition for your contributions to growing HOPA's social media presence.

How to Apply

Please send us:

  • A brief introduction about yourself.
  • Examples of content you've created, such as posts, videos, graphics, or campaigns.

We're excited to see your creativity and how you can help build HOPA into a recognized social media brand.
