What Does a Remote Video Editor Do?
Remote video editors, also called home-based editors or freelance editors, cut and realign multiple film shots into a cohesive story. While in-house editors work in the office, remote video editors perform their job duties from home or another location outside of the office. They use a variety of computer software and equipment to alter and edit images digitally. Remote video editors are in charge of taking raw film footage, pulling out the best shots that have the best sound and imagery, and putting it back together as seamlessly as possible. Other businesses outside of the film industry also use remote video editors to create promotional videos, educational and training videos, and presentations for clients.

Job description
Description
We build content engines for brands, creators, and entrepreneurs. Our clients include Apple, Snapchat, Liquid Death, Golden Goose, Poppi, and MGK.
We move fast and the team we build has to match that. We\'re not hiring to fill a seat — we\'re looking for someone who\'s obsessed with finding the right people.
If you have no experience using Workable, do not apply.
What you\'ll do
Own our hiring pipeline end-to-end inside Workable. Post roles, source and screen candidates, and move the right people through the funnel — primarily for graphic designer and video editor positions. This is a focused role. You\'re here to hire, nothing else.
What we need from you
Hands-on Workable experience — non-negotiable. A proven ability to evaluate creative talent: you know how to review a design portfolio or a video editor\'s reel and make a call quickly. You\'re organized, reliable, and don\'t need to be chased.
What you get
Fully remote, async, work from anywhere. Small team, no bureaucracy. A clear and focused scope — you own the hiring process. $500–$1,000/month USD, part-time.
Our hiring process
Three steps. No runaround.
