These programs typically combine online coursework, virtual workshops, leadership coaching, and real-world projects to build skills in strategic planning, team management, and organizational leadership. The remote format offers flexibility, making it accessible to participants from different locations and backgrounds. Graduates of such programs are equipped to step into high-level management positions and drive organizational success.

At WealthPlus, we’re redefining how organizations and individuals think about workplace benefits— making the future of financial wellness more accessible, transparent, and personal. Join a dynamic team that is shaping the future of wealth and workplace technology!

The Vice President of Implementation will lead the strategy, structure, and execution of the WealthPlus onboarding function across new client setup, strategic partner launches, plan conversions, employer setup, payroll integration, and early-stage client adoption. This senior leader will be responsible for building and managing the team, processes, and service standards that ensure every new client, advisor, TPA, plan sponsor, and participant experiences a smooth and successful transition onto the WealthPlus platform.
This role is ideal for an experienced operational and client-facing leader who understands how to scale onboarding in a fintech, retirement, or recordkeeping environment. The VP of Implementation will partner closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, and Client Experience to ensure new business is implemented accurately, efficiently, and in a way that sets the foundation for long-term client success. Experience in retirement, recordkeeping, wealth technology, or workplace benefits is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and scale the onboarding function for new clients, including plan onboarding, employer setup, plan build, and launch readiness across the WealthPlus platform.
  • Oversee plan conversions, including transition planning, data intake, validation, stakeholder coordination, and successful go-live execution.
  • Serve as the primary lead, acting as the central point of coordination for the TPA relationship to ensure client and partner alignment across service providers, documentation standards, conversion requirements, operational dependencies, and launch milestones.
  • Own the end-to-end implementation process for new business, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time, and with a high-quality experience for advisors, TPAs, plan sponsors, and service providers.
  • Drive adoption and operational success of payroll integrations; including payroll onboarding, file setup, mapping, partner coordination, exception handling, and initial processing.
  • Build scalable implementation playbooks, onboarding standards, conversion procedures, launch checklists, escalation paths, and performance metrics.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in client experience, implementations, operations, relationship management, or service leadership within fintech, financial services, recordkeeping, benefits, wealth management, or enterprise SaaS.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including building, scaling, and managing client-facing teams, onboarding teams, or managers.
  • Proven experience developing implementation processes, onboarding programs, conversion workflows, service standards, KPIs, escalation management processes, and executive-level client relationships.

Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of retirement plans, recordkeeping, workplace benefits, fintech operations, or wealth technology platforms.
  • Proven ability to build and scale implementation and onboarding functions in a multi-stakeholder service environment.
  • Experience leading plan conversions, new client setup, data mapping, payroll onboarding, and cross-functional launch execution.
  • Strong project management, process design, and operational problem-solving skills, with experience managing KPIs, SLAs, service standards, playbooks, and escalation workflows.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills across advisors, TPAs, plan sponsors, employers, participants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and using CRM, implementation, ticketing, reporting, and collaboration tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, Zendesk, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in 401(k), 403(b), retirement plan recordkeeping, TPA services, payroll integrations, wealth management, or employee benefits technology.
  • Familiarity with plan onboarding workflows, including plan setup, plan compliance, payroll mapping, participant servicing, notices, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting advisors, TPAs, plan sponsors, employers, and participants in a multi-constituent onboarding and servicing model.
  • Experience building implementation, onboarding, or conversion teams from the ground up.
