How You'll Make an Impact:

Strategy:

  • Implement the North America strategy ensuring business development and sustainable growth in the market.
  • Achieves established targets through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions.

Performance Targets:

  • Lead, own, and secure year-on-year operational targets, including Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality, and P&L set by the North America BU leadership.
  • Enhance Distribution Transformers North America performance and ensure timely reporting of operational and financial results.

Project and Service Execution:

  • Lead and orchestrate the local team, consisting of direct line reports and North America functions, to ensure overall operational capacity and capability.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products, projects, and services, meeting targets for HSE, quality, schedule, financial results, and customer satisfaction.

Sales and Customer Relations:

  • Lead the Distribution Transformers for North America to ensure common focus and targets aligned with the North America and Global Product Group strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Quality and Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead culture and behavioral change to continuously improve performance by driving continued improvements in compliance, productivity, delivery, and cost optimization year on year.
  • Ensure project quality capacity aligns with operational requirements to support the delivery of customer projects.

Health, Safety & Integrity:

  • Implement HSE and business compliance standards and regulations, both internal and country-specific, within the units.
  • Maintain a secure work environment, implement ongoing HSE improvement processes, and uphold integrity performance.

People Leadership and Development:

  • Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
  • Guide, motivate, and develop subordinates according to HR policies.

Your Background:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree: Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Preferred: Master's Degree: An MBA or a Master's in a relevant field can be advantageous
  • 10 to 15 years' experience of factory management and in the implementation of Lean principles in traditional manufacturing environment
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams and managing projectswith a strategic oversight of a specific product or product group.
  • Experience of managing manufacturing units in multiple locations and geographies
  • Must have permanent US work authorization
  • Competitive base compensation $225K - $290K plus incentives which will be based on experience.
