Position: VP of Business Development and TPO
Location: Remote
Compensation: $60-90k
Bonus / Incentive: Product and volume-based BPS / unit incentive structure with a guaranteed minimum- total comp avg $200k+
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST
Benefits: 2.5 weeks PTO

Overview
A growing mortgage lender is hiring a VP of Business Development and TPO to help drive loan production growth across Business Purpose Loan programs, including Non-QM, DSCR, Fix & Flip, GUC, and Bridge loan products. This is a fully remote role for someone who can independently build relationships, generate production opportunities, and support growth across both TPO and direct business channels.
The right person should have strong experience with broker, investor, developer, and referral partner relationships, along with a clear understanding of investor loan structures, DSCR lending, Fix & Flip financing, Bridge lending, and Non-QM products. This is a self-executing sales leadership role with room to help shape the company’s growth strategy.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales plans to increase production volume across Business Purpose Loan programs.
Build and manage relationships with mortgage brokers, real estate investors, developers, referral partners, and strategic partners.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence nationwide.
Drive loan origination growth through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship management.
Conduct outreach, presentations, and product training sessions for partners and clients.
Attend industry conferences, networking events, trade shows, and association meetings as needed.
Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective business opportunities.
Support partner onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
Work closely with leadership and operations to support production growth and partner success.
Help grow business across Non-QM, DSCR, Fix & Flip, GUC, Bridge, and related investor loan products.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant mortgage sales, TPO, business development, or lending experience.
Strong understanding of Non-QM lending products and investor loan structures.
Knowledge of DSCR underwriting, Fix & Flip financing, Bridge lending structures, and real estate investment strategies.
Experience developing broker, investor, referral partner, or strategic partner relationships.
Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
Experience using CRM systems for at least 3 years.
Experience using mortgage LOS platforms for at least 3 years.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Stack.
Mortgage Automator or Encompass experience is helpful, but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote sales leadership role.
