Vice President, Global Sales Operations

Job Summary
The Vice President, Global Sales Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving sales and partner performance, scalability, and efficiency across Genesys. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success leadership to align execution with company growth initiatives while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Organizational Excellence

  • Lead and develop a high-performing global sales operations function across regions
  • Establish clear operating rhythms and accountability models for sales and partner leadership
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and innovation

Executive Partnership and Communications

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Sales Officer and executive leadership team
  • Deliver clear, concise, and insight-driven executive communications including QBRs, forecasts, and board-level narratives
  • Influence strategic decisions through compelling, data-driven storytelling

Business Signal Detection and Insights

  • Build frameworks to identify leading indicators across pipeline, forecasting, and deal qualification
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform sales strategy and execution
  • Anticipate risks and opportunities early to enable proactive decision-making

Deal-Level Rigor and Forecast Excellence

  • Drive inspection discipline at the deal level to ensure pipeline accuracy and forecast reliability
  • Partner with sales leadership on large, strategic deals to improve win rates and sales cycle efficiency
  • Implement scalable processes that balance operational consistency with field flexibility

AI-Driven Innovation and Automation

  • Define and execute the vision for AI-enabled sales operations including forecasting, activity insights, and deal scoring

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
