Location:         Old Town Alexandria, VA / Hybrid - Remote

Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP), CFO Services to lead and grow our financial advisory practice. This executive-level role will provide strategic financial guidance to clients, helping organizations navigate complex business challenges, evaluate transaction opportunities, and drive value creation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience within Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), Deals AdvisoFry, or Quality of Earnings (QofE) practices and possess a strong background in financial due diligence, M&A transactions, and CFO-level advisory services. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while helping expand the firm's service offerings and client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Quality of Earnings (QofE), financial due diligence, and transaction advisory engagements.
  • Provide strategic CFO advisory services to clients, including financial planning, performance improvement, and operational optimization.
  • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Analyze financial statements, business performance, cash flow, working capital, and key operational metrics.
  • Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership teams, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted financial advisor.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to grow the CFO Services practice.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Lead multiple client engagements while ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • CPA designation strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), Deals Advisory, Quality of Earnings (QofE), or related financial consulting services.
  • Proven experience leading financial due diligence and transaction advisory engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, financial analysis, and business valuation concepts.
  • Experience advising private equity firms, portfolio companies, middle-market businesses, or corporate clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.
