Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients' therapeutic needs and co-occurring disorders.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices tailored to each clientโ€™s personal recovery goals.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that delve into topics such as addiction recovery, trauma processing, and coping strategies for mental health challenges.
  • Monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans in response to their evolving needs.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated client care.
  • Provide education to clients and their support systems on mental health awareness, recovery principles, and resources to aid their journey.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and adherence to legal standards of confidentiality and ethics.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals dealing with a combination of substance use disorders and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have unique life experiences that shape their healing process. Your influence as a counselor will be pivotal in supporting them as they develop resilience and achieve lasting recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
  • A minimum of three years of recent experience in mental health counseling, preferably in rehabilitation or addiction treatment settings.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization or further training in areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction therapy, or cognitive-behavioral therapy will be considered a strong asset.
