Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis management strategies that reflect clients' unique needs.

  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies, integrating them into client assessments alongside clinical team recommendations.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
  • Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a recognized mental health setting is mandatory.
  • Must be eligible for licensure by the State of New York.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to support potential client visits and engagements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an innate ability to establish rapport and trust with clients swiftly.
  • A solid foundation in active listening, coupled with the expertise to empathize while providing constructive guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to effectively manage documentation and care plans.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a community health or clinical environment.
