Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Life Healing Behavioral Health Center, your responsibilities will encompass the following:

  • Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions with couples and families, addressing various issues such as communication problems, relationship dynamics, and family conflicts.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions to family members, ensuring a thorough and holistic approach to treatment.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Empathetic and nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' diverse experiences and struggles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseload and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.

  • Previous experience in a remote or outpatient setting is advantageous.
