Medical Services Coordinator

???? Position Type: 1-Year Contract

???? Pay: $35.00–$40.00/hour

???? Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Eastern)

Candidates may reside anywhere in the U.S. but must be able to work Mountain Time hours. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Mountain Time Zone.


Position Overview

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable leader in veterinary diagnostics and animal healthcare committed to advancing diagnostic innovation and improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge laboratory and pathology services.

We are seeking a Medical Services Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support across multiple veterinary pathology and diagnostic services. This fully remote role serves as a central point of coordination for veterinary pathologists, laboratory operations, customer support, and cross-functional business teams while ensuring exceptional service for veterinary customers.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with veterinary, laboratory, pathology, or clinical operations experience who enjoy coordinating complex workflows, communicating with healthcare professionals, and supporting high-quality diagnostic services.


Key ResponsibilitiesMedical & Laboratory Operations
  • Coordinate daily operational support across multiple veterinary pathology and diagnostic service lines.

  • Review, validate, and process incoming consultation requests while ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.

  • Monitor shared service queues, customer communications, and case management systems.

  • Coordinate case assignments and scheduling for veterinary pathologists and consultants.

  • Support onboarding and training activities for new pathologists and contractors.

  • Assist with workflow optimization, SOP updates, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Customer & Clinical Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for veterinary customers regarding diagnostic services.

  • Respond to inquiries through email and case management platforms.

  • Troubleshoot routine customer and platform issues while escalating complex concerns appropriately.

  • Collaborate with customer support, technical support, product management, and laboratory teams to resolve service-related issues.

Administrative & Financial Support
  • Process invoices and monitor payment status using SAP.

  • Maintain contracts, compliance documentation, NDAs, and training records.

  • Track operational metrics, generate reports, and prepare monthly summaries.

  • Coordinate consultant schedules and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.


Required Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 2+ years of experience supporting clinical operations, laboratory operations, veterinary medicine, pathology, healthcare, or medical services.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong data accuracy.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems and business processes.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), or Veterinary Nurse.

  • Experience working in veterinary medicine, pathology, diagnostics, laboratory operations, or healthcare support.

  • Experience using SAP for invoicing or purchase order tracking.

  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

  • Familiarity with pathology workflows or diagnostic laboratory operations.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
