At Vetcor, a community-driven veterinary services organization supporting more than 900 practices across the U.S. and Canada, we are hiring for an HR Benefits Specialist role within our collaborative HR team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to support the people who care for pets every day-while working from anywhere in the U.S.

As a primary point of contact for employees and leaders, the HR Benefits Specialist provides timely, accurate, and customer-focused support across a wide range of HR and benefits-related inquiries. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive employee experience by offering clear guidance, resolving issues efficiently, and promoting effective use of HR self-service tools and processes.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-driven, and passionate about helping employees navigate their benefits with confidence.

The Role

  • Serve as the primary contact for benefits-related inquiries via phone, email, and help desk

  • Manage inquiries from intake through resolution, including appropriate escalation when needed

  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and qualifying life events in compliance with plan rules and regulations

  • Advise employees on eligibility, plan provisions, and coverage options

  • Track and communicate inquiry status updates to ensure a seamless employee experience

  • Utilize documented processes, policies, and knowledge resources to provide consistent and accurate responses

  • Partner closely with HR colleagues to support broader HR initiatives and continuous process improvement

What We are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • 1-2+ years of professional experience in benefits administration.
  • Working knowledge of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, dental, vision, disability, and voluntary benefits.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
