Position Summary

NikoHealth is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Migration Analyst to support the planning, preparation, validation, and migration of customer and business data between systems. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure data is accurately transferred, validated, organized, and ready for use within NikoHealth's platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets while maintaining data accuracy, security, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support data migration projects from initial data assessment through final validation.
  • Review, analyze, clean, and organize data received from customers or internal systems.
  • Map source-system data fields to corresponding fields within NikoHealth's platform.
  • Identify missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or inaccurate data and coordinate appropriate corrections.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, formatting, and loading activities.
  • Validate migrated data to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Conduct data reconciliation and investigate discrepancies between source and destination systems.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of migration requirements, mappings, processes, issues, and resolutions.
  • Work closely with Implementation, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and other internal teams to resolve migration-related issues.
  • Communicate with customers when clarification or additional information is required.
  • Assist with testing and quality assurance activities before and after data migration.
  • Monitor migration progress and communicate project status, risks, and outstanding issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow established data security, privacy, and confidentiality procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve migration processes, documentation, and data-quality standards.
  • Support multiple migration projects while meeting established deadlines and quality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in data migration, data analysis, implementation, database administration, or a related position preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and structured datasets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including filtering, sorting, formulas, and data validation.
