Role purpose

Lead demand, economic, financial and financing analysis for smart-city and digital-infrastructure projects and convert technical concepts into credible investment cases.

Representative assignment problems

Build CAPEX/OPEX, lifecycle-cost, affordability, revenue/savings, cash-flow, ROI and sensitivity analyses.

Assess financing gaps, public/private structures, DFI/MDB options and bankability.

Link technical alternatives, development impacts and implementation risks to recommendations.

Responsibilities

Produce concise, evidence-traceable inputs for Preliminary Assessments, Project Reports, TORs, independent budgets, schedules and the cumulative Final Report.

Participate in rapid mobilization, remote analysis, quality reviews and international travel when assigned.

Coordinate across technical, country, finance, export, resilience and editorial disciplines; surface contradictions and uncertainties early.

Protect Government, sponsor, customer and candidate information; immediately disclose actual, potential or apparent conflicts.

Minimum evidence-based qualifications

10+ years of infrastructure/project finance or economic analysis, including digital/telecom/utility projects.

Personally built or reviewed financial models for feasibility or investment decisions.

Development-finance, PPP/concession or public-investment experience.

Ability to write TOR economic/financial tasks and review independent models.

U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; Axyde will request written confirmation but not identity documents during recruiting.

Ability to support proposal or delivery activity on approximately 20 days' notice, subject to assignment timing.

Strong written English and ability to produce concise Government decision products.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including up to three trips of up to ten business days when assigned.
