Job description


Catalyx Services, LLC seeks a Validation Engineer reporting to office in Montgomeryville, PA to prepare various control systems validation documents, including user requirement specifications, functional requirements specifications, and detailed design specifications. Prepare and execute validation protocols and installation qualification protocols. Configure, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC. Configure, validate, design, and test DCS. Work on a variety of programmable logic controller systems and a variety of Distributed Controls Systems (DCS). Configure, validate, and test the Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems with the control systems. Design, program, test, validate, and maintain process controls and automation systems, including selecting the control system. Provide technical specifications for the control system, such as hardware and software specifications. Select the networking interface required to connect the control system to the process to be controlled, handling multiple projects concurrently.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a foreign equivalent and at least three (3) years of experience as an Automation Engineer or a substantially similar position performing all the duties as listed above. Relocation to client sites at various unanticipated client locations throughout the US is possible. Not a position that requires travel for work. Relocation costs not paid.
