Key Responsibilities
  • Complete clinical documentation promptly at the time of service, ensuring all patient information is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with patients and their families, conducting thorough assessments for suicidality and potential danger to self or others.
  • Facilitate the admission assessments of new patients with professionalism, demonstrating a welcoming attitude and sensitivity to their needs.
  • Actively participate in weekly treatment team meetings, sharing treatment goals and progress while offering additional clinical support to team members as necessary.
  • Conduct utilization reviews to communicate with insurance companies, providing clinical information required for authorization processes.
  • Respond to calls and emails from family members within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours at all other times to ensure open lines of communication.
  • Coordinate continuously with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding patient authorization and payment, ensuring seamless transitions in care.
  • Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission; conduct sessions to prepare patients for a successful transition, ensuring they understand coping strategies and available resources.
  • Manage crises effectively within therapy sessions and provide support to milieu staff, fostering a collaborative and responsive treatment environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele encompasses a wide demographic, including individuals managing acute and chronic mental health conditions. As a therapist, you will provide care to a population that seeks to overcome barriers to mental health treatment, often facing stigma or limited resources. Qualifications
  • A valid independent mental health license in Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
