This position is fully remote, allowing you the liberty to work from anywhere while connecting with clients and team members effectively. Our outpatient office remains focused on delivering high-quality mental health services, and your contributions will play a key role in shaping our innovative culture. We utilize state-of-the-art electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline client information and enhance service efficiency.

• Act as a liaison between clients, the Utilization Review Department, and the Business Department to ensure seamless authorization and payment processes.
• Support continuity of care by maintaining communication with referral sources and outpatient providers during a client's admission, midpoint, and discharge phases.
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission for every patient, including conducting discharge sessions to reinforce coping skills and ensure a robust transition plan.
• Manage crisis situations effectively, providing necessary support to both clients and milieu staff, while collaborating closely with the entire treatment team to ensure optimum clinical quality.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation following each session to comply with regulatory and internal standards.
• Build and nurture therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, carefully assessing patients for suicidality and risks to self or others.
• Facilitate professional admission assessments for new patients, maintaining a welcoming demeanor to create a positive initial experience.
• Engage actively in weekly treatment team meetings to communicate treatment goals and contribute to cohesive patient care.
• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance companies, providing relevant clinical information to support both initial and ongoing authorizations.
• Ensure availability and responsiveness to family members, returning calls and emails promptly within a 2-hour window during business hours and within 24 hours outside of those times.

The therapist will work with a diverse population of clients requiring mental health support. This includes individuals presenting with a range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Your expertise will be pivotal in facilitating their behavioral health improvements, contributing positively to their overall well-being, and guiding them in their personal growth journeys.

• A master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Demonstrated ability to manage a sizable caseload while effectively interfacing with healthcare providers and support staff.
• A profound commitment to making a positive impact in the field of mental health.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems to enhance therapy documentation and client management.
• Proven electronic communication skills for efficient collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
