This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals grappling with mental health disorders and dual diagnoses. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping client care through evidence-based practices, personalized treatment plans, and collaborative interventions to empower clients on their recovery journeys.

About the Organization

Located in Modesto, California, The Forge Recovery Center is committed to transforming the landscape of addiction and mental health treatment. With our additional centers in Orange County, we prioritize creating a supportive and peaceful environment that fosters growth and healing. Our multidisciplinary team is driven by a collaborative spirit and genuine compassion, ensuring that every client receives the holistic care they deserve. Together, we strive to change lives while cultivating a culture of enthusiasm and professional development.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be remote, allowing the successful candidate to provide flexible and accessible support to clients while working collaboratively with team members and clinical directors. Our virtual setting does not compromise the quality of care and community that we uphold. We utilize innovative digital platforms to facilitate communication and conduct group therapy, ensuring that our clients feel connected and supported, regardless of location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that may incorporate techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through evidence-based practices designed to address dependencies, enhance coping skills, and promote positive behavioral changes.
  • Set realistic and achievable treatment goals for clients, always adhering to ethical standards and legal protocols in mental health care.
  • Maintain meticulous record-keeping by documenting client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the clinical director in performing chart audits, reviewing treatment documentation, and signing off on clinical notes to ensure the highest quality care.
  • Foster professional relationships by engaging with clients, team members, and outreach stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive treatment environment.
  • Take part in ongoing clinical supervision and staff meetings to enhance team collaboration and contribute to quality improvement initiatives focused on elevating client care.
  • Work in close partnership with psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each client's needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of individuals facing mental health challenges, as well as co-occurring addiction, in a school-based setting. This emphasizes the importance of integrating psychosocial interventions for students who may be at risk or currently struggling with these issues. Your expertise will contribute directly to fostering a supportive and conducive learning environment for these clients.

Qualifications
  • To qualify for this role, you must hold a Masterโ€™s degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.
  • An active and valid License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) is required.
  • You should possess at least 2-3 years of relevant experience working within Substance Use or Mental Health Centers, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
  • The ideal candidate will have direct experience in case management and a comprehensive understanding of mental health issues.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially with electronic health record (EHR) systems, will be necessary for maintaining patient records and documenting treatment plans efficiently.
  • Strong clinical acumen paired with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in school settings with adolescents or young adults is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices tailored to individual and group therapies.
  • A demonstrated ability to handle case management duties seamlessly alongside clinical responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and supportive supervision.

Career Growth Opportunities

At The Forge Recovery Center, we believe in fostering the development of our team members. As an LCSW, you will have access to ongoing training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities within our organization. We strongly encourage participation in specialized workshops and conferences to enhance your skill set and expertise in the mental health field.
