This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Unity Developer (Middle) based in Netherlands.

This role offers the opportunity to build and improve engaging mobile applications that support early learning and create meaningful experiences for children and families worldwide.
You will contribute to the development of interactive features, UI systems, and scalable mobile experiences using Unity and modern engineering practices.
The position combines hands-on development, performance optimization, technical problem-solving, and collaboration with a passionate product team.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex mobile UI features for production applications, including screens, states, animations, adaptive layouts, onboarding experiences, and payment flows.
  • Design and evolve UI architecture using dependency injection principles and frameworks such as Zenject, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and efficient component lifecycle management.
  • Work with Addressables and remote content systems, including content loading, version management, and production stability improvements.
  • Ensure software quality through automated testing practices, including unit and integration tests, critical scenario coverage, and CI support.
  • Optimize Unity application performance and memory usage through profiling, garbage collection management, TextMeshPro optimization, and allocation control.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to reducing technical debt while maintaining delivery efficiency.
  • Support release processes and production environments, ensuring application reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor team members and help strengthen engineering practices, coding standards, and technical knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver polished and engaging mobile experiences.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing Unity applications, especially for mobile platforms.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and practical application of design patterns in production environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of C# and asynchronous programming concepts, including Task and UniTask.
  • Strong experience developing Unity UI systems, including TextMeshPro, responsive layouts, animations, and complex interface states.
  • Experience implementing dependency injection solutions such as Zenject or similar frameworks.
  • Practical experience with Addressables and remote content management, including loading strategies, versioning, and fallback logic.
  • Experience working with remote configuration systems, feature flags, and A/B testing experiments.
  • Understanding of Unity performance optimization, memory management, garbage collection, and profiling techniques.
  • Experience creating and maintaining automated tests, including unit tests, integration tests, and basic play mode testing.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience with native mobile integrations using Swift/Objective-C, Java/Kotlin, or Unity plugin development.
