Job Description:
Backend API Developer
Looking for an API Node Developer with 4 or more years of experience in NodeJS, ExpressJS, MS SQL platform services and TypeScript . Nice to have GraphQL.
Experience in engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable application and security. Needs to be self managing in the sense that he/she does not need a ton of oversight. Proficiency with unit testing and coding best practices is required.
Information Technology resources are aligned with the business on the delivery of Client strategic priorities. It will do this by building strategic capabilities, enabling transformational efforts, embedding quality in all systems and processes and delivering the Client experience. Responsible for applying analytical skills to determine and document accurate business requirements and present these requirements in a manner that is concise, measurable and flexible enough to meet project and stakeholder needs. The emphasis in the role is to understand the requirements from the business perspective and translate them into the appropriate System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverable. This role can be an individual contributor on multiple small projects or lead a team of Developers for a large project/workstream. This role manages technical feedback on work products assigned to the Project Management team. Knowledge with the SDLC activities expected to develop custom developed and packaged applications with exposure to: Business Process Modeling and/or Re-engineering (preferred)
