The Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls.
In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: "Together for Ukraine".
Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100.000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment.
We are looking for a volunteer English Language Teacher to join our Educational team at TEEI. As a language teacher, you will help to enhance the language skills of our students.
Role Scope
  • Developing lesson plans and materials to teach basic language skills to students.
  • Conducting online or in-person language classes for students.
  • Evaluating students' progress and providing feedback to help them improve.
  • Collaborating with other volunteers and staff members to develop effective teaching strategies.
  • Providing support and guidance to students to help them achieve their language learning goals.
  • Participating in training sessions and workshops provided by TEEI to enhance your teaching skills.

Requirements
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring language learners.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a multicultural team.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Passion for helping underprivileged communities through education.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Having a language teaching certificate is highly valued.
