In this critical position, you will play a vital role in the recovery journey of individuals grappling with substance use and mental health challenges, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic interventions and comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health concerns, strengths, resources, and readiness for change.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans that align with clientsโ€™ unique needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction specialists, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Implement crisis intervention procedures to manage acute scenarios effectively, including risk assessments and safety planning.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes designed to empower clients and enhance coping skills.
  • Support clients in building resilience and life skills as part of their recovery journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse clientele, primarily comprising individuals transitioning through detox and seeking support to address both substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and dual diagnoses. Your work will directly impact clients' recovery trajectories, guiding them towards healthier lifestyles and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • At least two years of experience working in mental health or outpatient settings, with a focus on addiction or severe mental illness preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and best practices in mental healthcare.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, allowing for effective client engagement and rapport-building.
Preferred Experience
