Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Join our Treasury Technology team as a Treasury Analysis Lead Analyst and help keep critical payment processes running with accuracy, speed, and care. In this role, you will support daily payment balancing across checks, ACH, IACH, and wires, troubleshoot application issues, and partner with Treasury and Technology teams to strengthen controls and improve the user experience. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys connecting finance, banking technology, and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead daily payment file balancing across Treasury applications to help ensure incoming and outgoing transactions are processed accurately and on time.

  • Validate system totals against bank acknowledgements and confirmation emails, research discrepancies, and escalate issues with clear facts and urgency.

  • Monitor Treasury dashboards, emails, jobs, files, integrations, and scheduled processes to confirm successful execution and identify exceptions early.

  • Troubleshoot rejected, failed, or delayed payment jobs by reviewing logs, error messages, file formats, and application activity.

  • Partner with product owners, IT teams, Treasury Technology, and internal support teams to resolve issues, reduce risk, and improve service quality.

  • Track recurring issues and recommend system, control, or process improvements that improve accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Support user setup, access reviews, and provisioning activities across Treasury applications.

  • Respond to audit inquiries and help maintain documentation that supports SOX controls, policy adherence, and operational readiness.

  • Use strong communication and follow-through to keep stakeholders informed during incidents, escalations, and daily production support.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information technology, business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, banking technology, application support, payment operations, financial systems, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of payment processing workflows, financial systems, and banking products or services.

  • Experience supporting production applications, researching failed jobs, and resolving system or file issues.

  • Ability to read logs, analyze error messages, and perform functional troubleshooting.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of common payment or data file formats.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work with urgency and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work across departments, technology teams, and geographies.

Preferred

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems, payment hubs, or payment gateways, such as ION/Reval, Bottomline Technologies, SWIFT, or FSI Track.

  • Experience with dashboards, job monitoring tools, user provisioning, access reviews, or audit support.

  • Knowledge of SOX controls, compliance requirements, banking technology trends, and treasury process improvements.

  • Leadership experience guiding work, supporting teammates, or coordinating issue resolution across teams.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 77,200 - 128,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
