Mobile Phlebotomist (Part-Time, Contract)

Tampa and the Surrounding Areas
Daily Specimen Drop-Off in Downtown St. Petersburg
Part-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor

LabRetriever is a trusted mobile phlebotomy service delivering high-quality phlebotomy services to patients in private homes, workspaces, assisted living, independent living, and home care settings. We take pride in our professionalism, patient comfort, and timely specimen transport.

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Mobile Phlebotomist for a part-time contract role. This is a long-term opportunity ideal for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently and making a difference in patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood draws in ALFs, ILFs, and private residences
  • Properly label, process, store, and transport specimens
  • Use your own vehicle to travel to patient locations and drop off specimens in downtown St. Petersburg or other locations as instructed
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years phlebotomy experience (Required)
  • Experience with geriatric or nursing home patients is a plus
  • Must use your own vehicle and provide proof of current auto insurance
  • Must have a working cell phone
  • Must be organized, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Some supplies provided
  • No students or entry-level applicants will be considered

Schedule:

  • Part-time hours
  • Weekday mornings preferred (no holiday, weekends, or nights)
  • Some flexibility required based on patient scheduling

Compensation:

  • To be discussed during the interview
