Job description

This is a remote position open to candidates residing within the continental United States. Travel is required to support national accounts, trade events, and internal collaboration.
The Sales Manager, Golf Wholesale, will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's image, driving growth, and ensuring the organization's long-term success through wholesale retailers, green grass partnerships and strategic on-course events. Reporting to the VP, Wholesale Sales, the candidate will act as a thought leader, helping inform the overall channel and brand strategy, cross functional execution and ensuring its alignment with company goals through accelerating Cole Haan Golf within the marketplace. You will be responsible for expanding distribution, cultivating relationships, and creating strategic direction that exemplifies the best expression of Cole Haan. This is an exciting and pivotal time to join the Cole Haan team as we look to expand our presence across the country in the game of Golf.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Create, drive, and own a comprehensive product cadence through Cole Haan's merchandising calendar
  • Champion product needs; provide marketplace trends to product development team
  • Execute brand strategy across functions to build, deliver and exceed financial plans/targets
  • Effectively lead a team of remote independent field reps/agencies
  • Develop sales tools/peripherals to equip field sales reps across the country
  • Drive internal and external communication, clearly communicating Cole Haan's strategic vision and expectations
  • Coordinate and effectively execute national and regional trade shows / on-course events
  • Drive positive relationships with internal partners to stay up to date on upcoming products and programs and to advocate for the channel needs for both green grass and wholesale accounts
  • Work hand in hand with planning to build an accurate Golf forecast each season
  • Establish weekly reporting dashboards

A DAY IN THE LIFEYou will be directly responsible for building a strategic growth strategy for Cole Haan golf. With a team of field reps, you will be accountable for creating and executing effective sales tools which will allow the field reps to successfully sell Cole Haan golf footwear. Through clear and concise communication, you will be responsible for conveying a quarterly product cadence, accurate seasonal forecasting, and relaying market trends to product development to build trend right product.
  • 8+ years of experience working in golf, with a focus on effective leadership prioritizing strategic growth
  • Highly motivated and experienced in building / executing brand strategy
  • Entrepreneurial; results driven individual who leads through a positive mindset
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills; Must be able to manage cross-functional internal and external relationships
  • Ability to lead a team of remote field reps/agencies through effective communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in leading specialty sales meetings
  • Bachelors' degree in related area or equivalent experience
  • Experienced and sophisticated merchandiser, knowledgeable about best practices and up-to-date on emerging trends
  • Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to manage day-to-day details as well as the ability to define and execute against long-term strategic vision and objectives
  • Strong, organizational, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

Base Salary/Hourly Range: From $140,000 to $168,000 annually*
Bonus Eligibility: Yes, eligible for annual target bonus based on company and individual performance
