The Agate Beach Inn is Newport's premier oceanfront full-service hotel, offering 148 guest rooms, Sea Glass Bistro & Lounge, and over 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space. About the Role
We are seeking a motivated sales professional to develop new group and event business for the hotel. This role focuses on prospecting, building client relationships, and converting opportunities into booked room nights, meetings, and events.
Remote Note
While this position is remote, candidates must reside in Oregon or have extensive prior experience working and building business relationships within the Oregon hospitality and events market.
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading a team of 3 sales professionals, optimizing revenue, maximizing sales opportunities consistent with the Hotel's business plan; accurately forecasting revenue and expenses, and efficiently managing sales activities through coordination with clients and operational departments.
