Work Environment

You will work remotely as part of an integrated outpatient team, with hours tailored to accommodate both client and organizational needs. Our core working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to ensure that our services align with patient demands. The remote setting allows for flexibility while ensuring you remain connected to a collaborative team focused on trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma history and establish tailored treatment paths.
• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing best practices and evidence-based methods.
• Administer various therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), addressing specific needs and fostering healing.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to explore their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s well-being.
• Deliver crisis intervention support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and compassionate care.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.
• Maintain up-to-date, confidential patient records adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of assessments and treatment progress.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment approaches and contribute to clinical excellence.
• Stay informed of the latest research developments and advancements in trauma therapy methodologies, delivering the best care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses on individuals who have experienced trauma in various forms, especially those facing challenges related to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a critical role in helping these individuals navigate their path to recovery, fostering a culture of trust and emotional safety in your interactions.

Qualifications

The appropriate candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, with familiarity in trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.
• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while managing the needs of patients effectively.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
• A collaborative approach, working cohesively within a multidisciplinary team for holistic patient care.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based trauma treatments and effective intervention techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
