Contemporary Trauma Mental Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled mental health therapist to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time position focuses on delivering exceptional mental health therapy to individuals who have experienced trauma, with the aim of fostering healing and resilience.

Located in Killeen, Texas, Contemporary Trauma Mental Clinic is committed to providing specialized care for patients suffering from trauma-related disorders. Our outpatient clinic is designed to be a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can begin their journey toward recovery. We prioritize evidence-based practices, and our team is equipped to address conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

As a remote mental health therapist, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while being fully integrated into a supportive team. Our clinic values collaboration, and you will have regular opportunities to engage with fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and specialized professionals dedicated to comprehensive patient care. Work schedules typically run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs.

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health evaluations to assess individuals’ trauma history and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Create and implement personalized trauma recovery strategies aimed at promoting resilience and building coping skills.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group sessions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma and navigating their recovery journey.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated treatment for patients.
• Respond to crisis situations involving trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support and intervention.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping techniques, and available resources for ongoing support.
• Uphold legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.

The primary patient population for this role includes adults and adolescents who have experienced various degrees of trauma. Our clinic is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care tailored to the unique needs of each client. By prioritizing a trauma-informed approach, we strive to empower our patients to reclaim their lives from the impacts of trauma.

• A master's or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of Texas.
• A comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed therapy techniques.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor essential for this role.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient information and care documentation.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in trauma-focused therapy and interventions, further enhancing their ability to contribute effectively to our patients' recovery.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
