This position is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver care from a comfortable environment while still being part of a collaborative team. As an outpatient office, the flexibility of remote work supports both our therapists and clients in achieving optimal therapeutic outcomes. We offer a structured work schedule, with sessions primarily held Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while also allowing for adjustments based on patient needs.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at fostering recovery and building resilience.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care tailored to each patient's needs.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, enhancing patient safety and care.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities focusing on trauma-informed practices.
• Stay current with the latest research and effective practices in trauma therapy to provide the best care possible.

The primary client focus of this position is individuals struggling with the aftermath of trauma. You will work with a diverse population, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is essential in helping these patients navigate their paths to recovery and improving their overall mental health and quality of life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Strong foundational knowledge and experience with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• Diverse experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to maintain composure and calmness in high-stress or crisis situations.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other applicable computer applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling environment.
• A proven track record with both individual and group therapy modalities.
• Direct experience handling crisis intervention and high-acuity cases.
