• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement personalized strategies to facilitate trauma recovery and foster resilience in clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive timely support and care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available for additional support.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that fulfills all legal and ethical requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and focused professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed therapy practices.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments within the field of trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic techniques.

This role will focus on helping individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will guide clients in navigating their healing process, aiding them in developing essential coping mechanisms and resilience. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Colorado.
• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and the principles of trauma-informed care.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios while working effectively with clients.
• A collaborative spirit, eager to engage in teamwork and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to care.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience working in remote environments and familiarity with telehealth best practices is beneficial.
