Job Description

Digital Strategy Manager (Website & Conversion Optimization)

The Digital Strategy Manager is responsible for driving measurable improvements in website performance and customer conversion through data-driven strategy, experimentation, and continuous optimization. This role focuses on the end-to-end digital funnelโ€”from traffic entry through conversionโ€”partnering closely with marketing, product, digital, analytics, and brand to improve customer experiences and business outcomes.

This role blends strategic thinking, hands-on optimization, experimentation rigor, and performance management, with a strong bias toward action and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Conversion Funnel Optimization

ยท       Own and optimize key website conversion funnels (e.g., acquisition, engagement, application, enrollment, lead capture).

ยท       Identify friction points and drop-offs across journeys and prioritize opportunities to improve conversion, efficiency, and customer experience.

ยท       Partner with UX, content, and development teams to design and implement improvements that drive measurable results.

Experimentation & Testing

ยท       Lead a structured experimentation roadmap across website pages, journeys, and experiences (A/B, multivariate, and iterative testing).

ยท       Develop clear hypotheses, success metrics, and test designs grounded in customer behavior and business objectives.

ยท       Analyze test results, translate insights into recommendations, and scale winning experiences.

Performance & Analytics

ยท       Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to website effectiveness, funnel performance, and conversion outcomes.

ยท       Use qualitative and quantitative data (analytics, session replay, customer feedback, research) to inform strategy and prioritization.

ยท       Regularly report performance, insights, and optimization impact to stakeholders and leadership.

Strategy & Cross-Functional Partnership

ยท       Translate business goals into actionable digital strategies and optimization plans.

ยท       Collaborate with marketing, product, analytics, technology, legal/compliance, and risk partners to execute changes efficiently and responsibly.

ยท       Influence prioritization decisions through clear business cases, data, and customer-centric thinking.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

ยท       Stay current on trends, competitive landscape, digital optimization, experimentation, and conversion best practices.

ยท       Contribute to evolving standards, frameworks, and playbooks for website performance and experimentation.

ยท       Champion a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

ยท       At least 7 years of experience in digital strategy, website optimization, growth, or performance marketing roles.

ยท       Bachelorโ€™s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications

ยท       Demonstrated success improving website and funnel conversion through data-driven optimization and experimentation.

ยท       Strong experience with web analytics and experimentation platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or similar).

ยท       Proven ability to translate insights into clear recommendations and measurable outcomes.

ยท       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

ยท       Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments.

ยท       Familiarity with UX principles, CRO methodologies, and customer journey mapping.

ยท       Experience partnering with agile or product delivery teams.

ยท       Background in financial services, e-commerce, or high-consideration digital experiences.
