Key Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that evaluations reflect the individual’s unique context and needs.
• Provide both individual and family therapy sessions in alignment with identified patient needs, utilizing methodologies that resonate with clients and facilitate engagement.
• Maintain compliance with documentation standards by completing billing, thorough treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner.
• Develop comprehensive crisis and safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to assist clients in maintaining stable functioning.
• Execute discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for clients exiting therapy.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state laws, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, to guarantee ethical and effective practice.
• Commit to professional development by participating in ongoing training and continuing education programs.
• Engage in regular case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate effectively with fellow team members and share insights regarding patient care.
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training to maintain the highest standard of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensing.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C) in the State of Maryland is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with diverse populations and various age groups.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your licensure and experience level. In addition to generous pay, we provide an impressive benefits package that includes:
