Compensation Range: $165,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience)

A nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Wilmington office. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney to handle high-impact work within a collaborative, well-resourced litigation team.

The role offers flexibility to focus on one or more of the following areas—depending on your background and interests—with the chance to gain early case ownership, trial exposure, and client-facing experience:

  • Commercial Litigation
  • Cyber/Data Security
  • Employment Law
  • Premises Liability
  • Professional Liability
  • Construction
  • Insurance Coverage and Bad faith
  • Healthcare
  • Transportation
  • General Liability Defense

Positions are available in the firm’s Delaware office, with flexible hybrid or fully remote options (in-office presence required only for hearings, depositions, or trial).

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategy and provide timely updates

  • Draft persuasive legal briefs, pleadings, and dispositive motions

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed

  • Build client relationships while contributing to the firm’s collaborative and supportive culture

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Licensed and admitted to practice in Delaware (or pending admission)

  • 2+ civil litigation experience in one or more of the areas listed above

  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

  • Trial experience is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from up to $275,000, commensurate with experience

  • Annual bonus eligibility

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits

  • Student loan repayment assistance

  • 401(k) with firm contribution

  • Generous PTO and parental leave

  • Long-term career development opportunities with mentorship and training programs
